EV Nigeria Expo 2026 Moves to November 25-26 After COP31

The EV Nigeria Expo & Conference, Nigeria's leading event for electric vehicles and sustainable transportation, has announced a shift in its 2026 schedule. The Expo will now take place on November 25-26, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. This change positions the Expo immediately after COP31, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, which will be held in Antalya, Türkiye from November 9-20, 2026.

The EVN Expo 2026 is seen as the first national platform where Nigeria translates the commitments made during COP31 into tangible investment, policy, and industrial action. Koye Abiola, the Convener of the EV Nigeria Expo, explained that the timing of the Expo after COP31 allows for the direct conversion of fresh commitments into action. The Expo will run for two days, with Day One focusing on industry, government, and capital, and Day Two emphasizing skills and the people involved in building the e-mobility sector.

The inaugural 2025 edition attracted over 600 participants, showcased nine clean energy and e-mobility companies, hosted fifteen institutional investors in its Deal Room, and convened three government agencies. Additionally, the platform publishes the EV Nigeria White Paper, an annual assessment of Nigeria's electric mobility sector.
