Eutelsat extends partnership with StarTV for Mexico services

Eutelsat has extended its collaboration with StarTV, a subsidiary of Grupo W Com, to continue providing satellite television services in Mexico using the EUTELSAT 117 West B satellite. The multi-year agreement enables StarTV to increase its utilization of satellite capacity on the EUTELSAT 117° West B orbital position, catering to direct-to-home television, educational content, and Near Video On Demand over IP in Mexico.

As one of Mexico's prominent direct-to-home television providers, StarTV's partnership with Eutelsat ensures continued access to high-quality entertainment and digital services across the country. Eutelsat, listed on Euronext Paris and the London Stock Exchange under ticker ETL, operates 31 geostationary satellites and a Low Earth Orbit constellation of over 600 satellites, distributing approximately 5,800 television channels globally and employing more than 1,600 individuals across more than 75 countries.
