'Don’t Touch Manoj Jarange': CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Warns Maharashtra Govt, Urges Talks Over Maratha Reservation Demands | Watch

Jalna: Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has warned the Maharashtra government against interfering with the hunger strike of activist Manoj Jarange. Dipke met the activist at Antarwali Sarati village in Jalna district, where Jarange's hunger strike has been ongoing for 14 days. He urged the government to engage in dialogue with Jarange to understand his demands, warning against any attempt to touch him.

Dipke pointed out that Jarange is seeking facilities for students like Prathamesh Deshmukh, an MPSC aspirant who took his own life. He criticized the government for not addressing the poor quality of education in the region and the lack of employment opportunities. Deshmukh's family, he said, had expressed their concerns during his meeting.

Dipke also questioned the government's actions, asking whether they wanted to keep Jarange starved for 26 days like activist Sonam Wangchuk. He alleged that the government is not ready to engage with Jarange, despite his risking his life for a noble cause. He emphasized that if the government wants to avoid more cases like Deshmukh's, it must find solutions to the issues raised by Jarange, such as the need for quality education, employment opportunities, and reservation reforms.
