The Los Angeles Dodgers have promoted their top prospect, Josue De Paula, to the major leagues to replace four-time MVP Shohei Ohtani, who is now on the 15-day injured list. De Paula, who will turn 21 on Friday, was called up from Double-A Tulsa and is expected to don the designated hitter role. De Paula, a part of the Dodgers' 2022 international signing class, has gained recognition as one of the most promising young players in baseball, currently ranked sixth among all prospects in Major League Baseball.
