Disha Salian Death Case: Father Satish Salian Records Statement At CBI Office In Mumbai

Mumbai, September 11, 2026: Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian, visited the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) office in BKC along with his lawyer, Nilesh Ojha, on Friday to record his statement regarding Disha's death. Ojha alleged that Disha was gang raped and murdered, and Satish Salian named several individuals he claimed were involved in the crime. The statement procedure concluded by around 6:30 pm.

Advocate Ojha informed that details of the alleged gang rape, murder, and police cover-up were submitted to the CBI. He named several high-profile individuals connected to the case and claimed the existence of an extra-judicial confession from a former police officer. The matter is expected to gain further traction once the CBI registers the offense on Saturday.

Speaking to the media, Disha's father, Satish Salian, stated that the complaint they had made had been provided to the CBI, and soon the agency would disclose further details. He also mentioned that those individuals responsible would have their roles revealed to the investigative agency. Earlier, the Mumbai police had concluded that Disha's death on June 8, 2020, was due to falling from the 14th floor of a building and found no foul play.

Disha's father had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, arguing that her death should be investigated by the CBI, citing "suspicious circumstances." The High Court subsequently directed the CBI to register an FIR and initiate a probe into the matter.
