Boks aim to silence critics in final Greatest Rivalry Series Test

Ambassador Roelf Meyer, along with South African Rugby Union president Mark Alexander, hosted a reception in anticipation of the crucial match. Meyer expressed that having the Springboks in the United States is a privilege, emphasizing the significance of rugby in the nation's heart.

Former Springbok captain Naas Botha, now the Director of Rugby for the Kansas City Blues, believes that the Springboks' loss in the first Test was a blessing in disguise. It allowed the players to approach the remaining matches with a new mindset, something Botha regards as crucial for their performance.

Botha also called for a decisive defeat of the All Blacks, asserting that such a victory would have a lasting psychological impact on the New Zealand team. He highlighted the challenge of facing a strong and experienced All Blacks squad, who have consistently proven their prowess against South Africa. Nonetheless, Botha maintains confidence in the Springboks' ability to secure a knockout blow that could leave a lasting impression on New Zealand.
