Bhopal Couple Targeted By Scooter-Borne Gang Near Manuabhan Tekri, Robbed Of Gold And Mobile At Knifepoint

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A young man and woman were robbed at knife point in Manuabhan Tekri on Thursday night. Four motorcycle-riding criminals allegedly took the woman’s gold chain and earrings, and the man’s cell phone, before fleeing the scene, police reported on Friday. The man, who works in a media company in MP Nagar, had accompanied his female acquaintance, who is preparing for competitive exams, to Manuabhan Tekri.

At 9 pm, they were having dinner at a stall near Tekri when four young men arrived on their scooters. One suspect allegedly kept the scooter running while the others approached the couple. The attackers threatened the woman and the man with a knife, snatching the woman’s jewelry and the man’s mobile phone. Upon receiving information, Kohefiza police arrived at the scene and initiated a search, but the suspects had already escaped.

Law enforcement agencies from nine police stations have been deployed to track down the culprits. Authorities are analyzing CCTV footage from the crime scene and surrounding areas, including cameras along likely escape paths, to identify and apprehend the accused.
