BCC's Paris is Bronson Battle Creek Athlete of the Week winner for Aug. 31-Sept. 5

The Battle Creek Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, have announced their winners for the week of August 31 - September 5. This year, there are two winners - one for boys and one for girls. However, due to Labor Day Weekend, only one Athlete of the Week was chosen this time.

The recipient of the latest Bronson Battle Creek/Enquirer Athlete of the Week fan poll is Sir Paris, a member of the Battle Creek Central football team. Sir Paris made a significant impact on both sides of the ball in a thrilling victory over Lansing Everett. He caught a touchdown pass in the first half, broke up a crucial fourth down pass in the end zone with 10 seconds remaining, and added an interception in the final minute to secure a 31-26 win for his team. Additionally, he amassed 11 tackles throughout the game.

Sir Paris is known for his quiet demeanor and often goes unnoticed, but he is a pivotal player on the field. Coach Lorin Granger praised the young athlete's ability to rise to the challenge and improve under pressure.
