Balochistan Raises Upper Age Limit for Government Jobs

The Balochistan government has announced a significant change to the age requirements for government job applications. Eligible candidates, including those from general categories, persons with disabilities, and legal heirs of martyrs, will now be able to apply for positions even if their age exceeds the previously set limit. The maximum age limit for these applicants has been raised to 43 years.

For government employees who have already completed at least two years of continuous service, the age limit has been further increased to 50 years. This allowance is intended to provide more opportunities for experienced government officials to continue their careers.

However, it is important to note that this age relaxation will not be applicable to government positions where the maximum age limit was initially set below 43 years. This clarification ensures that the policy change does not retroactively benefit certain existing government roles.

A spokesperson for the Balochistan government emphasized that candidates will not receive any additional age relaxation beyond the newly announced limit. This emphasizes the government's commitment to maintaining fairness and consistency in their hiring practices.

The new age relaxation policy will remain in effect for a period of three years from the date of its official issuance. This timeframe allows the government to assess the impact of the change and make any necessary adjustments in the future.
