The regime of Askar Wataniah is now recognized as a strategic asset that strengthens national defense, stated the Raja Muda. He emphasized that the presence of Askar Wataniah across the nation not only reinforces the bond between the military and the people, but also showcases their professional expertise, which significantly augments the vital strength of the Malaysian Ground Forces. This includes their skills in sectors such as information technology, logistics, medicine, engineering, and technology.

Following his visit, Raja Puan Muda Perlis, Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, along with the second daughter of the Raja Muda, Sharifah Farah Adriana Jamalullail, departed. Their arrival was greeted by the Deputy Commander of Regiment 504 Askar Wataniah, Mohd Azwan Ariff Mohd Azawi, who personally led the perbarisan involving 9 officers and 130 additional personnel.
