Aqarat announces new identity for fourth Qatar Real Estate Forum

Doha - The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) has revealed the new identity for the Qatar Real Estate Forum 2026, as it prepares for its fourth edition in October. The forum will take place from the 27th to the 29th of October at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Aqarat has entered into a strategic partnership with Cityscape Qatar, which was confirmed in a signing ceremony attended by Mohammed Makki, Director of the Real Estate Investment Department at Aqarat, and Amr Salem, Regional Director of Informa Qatar, representing Cityscape Qatar.

In a statement, H.E. Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Malki, Chairman of Aqarat, emphasized the significance of the forum's timing, as it comes at a moment of rapid geopolitical shifts in the region and globally. These changes are crucial for discussions at the forum regarding the future of the real estate sector and its adaptability to emerging developments.

Al-Malki noted that the sector has shown resilience amidst regional geopolitical developments, thanks to improvements in the business environment and investment climate. The real estate sector's performance has been bolstered by advancements in real estate regulations and legislation, which have positively impacted the sector's growth and investor confidence.

The Qatar Real Estate Forum 2026 will convene government leaders, developers, investors, policymakers, and senior decision-makers to explore factors shaping the future of real estate. Discussions will focus on reviewing challenges and opportunities, and identifying practical strategies to promote sector growth and boost its capacity to attract both domestic and foreign investment.
