Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale appeared to take on the role of mediator in the latest controversy involving Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, as he appeared on a TikTok Live session. Wale, dressed up as a lawyer, addressed the recent discord between the two musicians and sided with Sarkodie, urging Stonebwoy to apologize to the rapper. He questioned why disagreements between artists who have been in the industry for years continue to escalate publicly, arguing that the constant exchanges do little to benefit Ghanaian music.

Wale reminded Stonebwoy of Sarkodie's long-standing career in the industry and the respect he believes should be accorded to him.
