Adun Bersatu, Syazwani kata belum pilih ‘rumah politik’ lepas hadir PAU

(Image via Facebook) Kuala Lumpur: Permatang Nurul Syazwani Noh said she has not decided on her political home of battle yet despite attending the Umno Supreme Council Meeting at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur today.

She said she still respects the people's mandate given to her and will remain a member of Bersatu for now. She added that her decision on her political home will only be made after the Selangor State Assembly is dissolved. "I respect the idea of the Nation Home inspired by Umno President Zahid Hamidi. I see his openness as the soul of a great leader who wants to unite Malay people.

"For now, I respect the people's mandate as Permatang Adun and still a member of Bersatu. After the State Assembly is dissolved, that's when I can determine my political home. Sometimes we need to go far to know where our home is," she told FMT. Syazwani said her attendance at the PAU should not be interpreted as a final decision on her political stance.

She, who is also the daughter of Umno veteran Noh Omar, was elected as Permatang Adun in PRN Selangor 2023 under the Bersatu ticket representing Perikatan Nasional (PN). In June, Noh announced her return to Umno and Barisan Nasional under the initiative of Rumah Bangsa. Meanwhile, Nurul Syazwani, who attended wearing Umno women's attire, drew attention from all representatives as the party focused on the idea of the Nation Home as an effort to unite Malays and open up space for those who want to return to the party.
