2026 World 100 Thursday Prelim Feature Results From Eldora Speedway

The 2026 World 100 week at Eldora Speedway began on Thursday night with two preliminary features. Ashton Winger and Brandon Overton won the first two races, each taking home $12,000. The event, the most prestigious in dirt late model racing, faced a three-hour rain delay, pushing the first feature race past 1:30 a.m. ET on Friday.

Brian Shirley took the Group A feature pole position, but Ashton Winger won the first 25-lap feature after a slider move on Shirley on Lap 12. Winger's win was his first at Eldora Speedway. Shirley finished second, with Brandon Sheppard, Chris Ferguson, and Ryan Gustin rounding out the top five. In the Group B feature, Brandon Overton won a close battle with Josh Rice, marking his first win at The Big E since 2022.

Overton's victory was followed by Tyler Erb and Bobby Pierce completing the podium. The full results of both features are available on the official site.
