Donald Trump inaugurated the Republican Party's midterm campaign season in Dallas on Wednesday, opening an unprecedented convention designed to mobilize voters ahead of the critical November elections. Referring to the two years under his presidency, Trump declared: "This has been the most successful two years financially and every other way in the history of the presidency."

Embracing the crowd with chants of "USA! USA!", the President promised a "Trump dividend" of $5,000 to every adult if Republicans secure control of Congress. This sum, to be spent domestically, would incentivize economic activity within the United States.

During the nearly two-hour address, Trump highlighted his administration's achievements across various sectors, including trade, foreign policy, and domestic issues. He reiterated his support for tariffs, which drew criticism from the "fake news," while praising his relationship with Chinese President Xi Jinping, stating their interaction would be mutually beneficial.
