Uniqlo opening 3 new stores in Philippines

Japanese retail giant Uniqlo plans to open three new stores in the Philippines to bolster its presence in the country. The company revealed its expansion plans, stating it will open a store in SM City Zamboanga on September 25, which will mark their eighth store in Mindanao. Additionally, Uniqlo aims to open a store at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in November, providing airport travelers with access to their LifeWear essentials.

The brand will also expand its retail spaces in SM City Marikina and SM City Cabanatuan, with the latter introducing self-checkout counters. Furthermore, the store in SM City Cebu will undergo a major transformation, expanding from a one-floor layout to a two-level large-format store. In response to the recent earthquake in Mindanao, Uniqlo plans to reopen its store in SM City General Santos, catering to the community's needs as they recover.

These store openings and upgrades are part of Uniqlo's celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Philippines-Japan friendship. The brand remains dedicated to bringing LifeWear closer to more Filipinos through strategically located stores and apparel tailored to meet everyday life's evolving needs. Uniqlo first opened its doors in the Philippines in 2012.
