Truepic, ISB Global team up on insurance claims evidence

Truepic and ISB Global Services have formed a partnership to provide authenticated photo and video inspections for insurance claims in Canada. This collaboration enables Canadian insurers to access verified visual evidence through the ISB Portal, facilitating faster and more confident claim decisions. ISB Global Services CEO Darrell Parsons emphasized that the partnership bolsters the ISB Portal by providing insurers with direct access to authenticated visual evidence, while Truepic's president and founder Craig Stack highlighted the importance of verified visual evidence in addressing the increasing threat of photo fraud in claims.

Under this arrangement, policyholders undergo a guided mobile capture process, after which the photos and videos are validated through over 50 automated integrity and fraud detection checks before being added to the claim file within minutes. Truepic's technology, which has authenticated and analyzed millions of images and videos for large enterprises, aims to help insurers reduce the reliance on costly in-person inspections and stay ahead of emerging fraud risks, particularly as AI-generated and manipulated images become more prevalent in insurance fraud.
