The Warning & Mastodon Reign on Top Hard Rock Albums Chart

The Warning and Mastodon have secured the top two spots on Billboard's Top Hard Rock Albums chart for the week ending September 12, with The Warning achieving its first No. 1 and Mastodon debuting at No. 2. The Warning's album Everything's Falling led the list with 32,000 equivalent album units, of which 29,000 were from album sales.

This marks The Warning as the first Mexican band to top the chart, as well as the second all-woman band, following BABYMETAL. Mastodon's Marrow Deep started at No. 2 with 19,000 units. This marks the first time since September 2025 that two debuting releases have occupied the top two positions on the chart. The Warning had previously peaked at No. 4 with Keep Me Fed in 2024, while Mastodon has achieved six top two positions since the survey began in 2007.

Both albums also perform well in the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, with Everything's Falling at No. 4 and Marrow Deep at No. 9. The albums are also among the top-selling vinyl releases for the week, with Everything's Falling debuting at No. 3 and Marrow Deep at No. 5. The Warning's lead single, "Kerosene," is the current No. 2 hit on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, driven by 3.1 million radio audience impressions and 432,000 chart-eligible streams. Mastodon's "Barbarians Blood" follows at No. 18.
