Teledyne wins $15.4m European drone energetics contract

Teledyne Energetics UK, a division of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, has secured a $15.4 million contract to supply energetics products for unmanned systems in Europe. The agreement will provide initiation and energetic solutions for drone applications. Teledyne stated that this initial contract sets the stage for a potential long-term relationship worth over $50 million.

The company will deliver energetic technologies to support unmanned systems programs as they progress from development to production, with deliveries beginning immediately. John Toner, Senior Vice President at Teledyne Aerospace & Defence Electronics UK, highlighted the rapid evolution of Europe's unmanned systems market and the strategic importance of establishing trusted industrial capacity near the programs it supports.

This contract also supports Teledyne's expansion of regional manufacturing capabilities in Europe, with the company anticipating further growth as future production needs rise. Teledyne Technologies offers digital imaging products, instrumentation, aerospace and defense electronics, and engineered systems, primarily operating in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Western and Northern Europe.
