Sophie Cunningham Drops West Wilson As Her Cohost, Launches New Podcast

Fever guard Sophie Cunningham has found a new podcast partner and a new show title under The Volume umbrella. Cunningham's previous show, Show Me Something, which she co-hosted with best friend and reality TV star West Wilson, went silent since late June, leaving listeners puzzled. On Thursday, Cunningham revealed the launch of a new show called No Hesitation, featuring co-host Drew Hanlen, a celebrity basketball trainer.

"Drew and I love this sport, we could talk basketball all day. Now we will!" Cunningham exclaimed in a statement. "We'll dive into everything around the WNBA and NBA and can't wait to share our thoughts. The Volume has been an awesome partner in making that happen."

According to a source familiar with the situation, the decision to change co-hosts for Show Me Something had been in the works for months. The program had a one-year deal expiring, and Cunningham and Volume officials aimed for a show strictly focused on basketball. Following the show's disappearance, Wilson seemingly responded to Cunningham's comments about transgender athletes in a July interview with ESPN.

Cunningham had expressed her desire to "protect women's sports," clarifying that she never claimed to hate trans individuals, emphasizing the importance of truth and honesty in discussions. Four days after the interview, Wilson posted a rebuttal on TikTok, stating that transgender athletes in American sports are "a borderline non-existent issue," challenging the notion that they pose a threat to sports in America, as mathematically, this is not the case. No Hesitation, featuring Cunningham and Hanlen, is scheduled to launch on Thursday.
