Ravindra Chavan's Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg Visit Boosts BJP's Organisational Push

Maharashtra BJP president Ravindra Chavan paid a visit to Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, reigniting the party’s organisational push in the region. Chavan’s one-day trip aimed to bolster the party’s grassroots outreach and fortify its presence in the area, where several office-bearers from different political parties joined the BJP.

During the meetings, Chavan inspected BJP Bhavan offices under construction in Kankavli and Ratnagiri. He emphasized that these offices should be more than just administrative centers; they should also serve as hubs for public outreach, training, and service, providing energy and support to party workers. Chavan urged party workers to actively engage with the people and ensure that development works and welfare schemes under the Modi and Fadnavis governments reached the last person in society.

The discussions at the meetings centered around strengthening the party’s organisational programmes, including the Seva Sankalp campaign, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay training classes, and other initiatives. Chavan stressed the importance of worker training, ideological orientation, and planning for future actions.

Local office-bearers and workers from various political parties attended the events, reflecting the expanding organisational reach of the BJP in Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg. The constituency already has a BJP MP, and BJP leaders hold positions in local civic bodies. Chavan reiterated the party’s goal of achieving “100 per cent BJP” support in the region by reinforcing its grassroots network and encouraging sustained outreach.
