Doha, Qatar — Qatar Foundation's BilAraby initiative is set to host the second annual BilAraby Annual Gathering in September 2026. The event will take place on September 19-20 at Multaqa, located within the Education City Student Center in Doha. Its theme, "With Our Ideas, We Build," underscores the initiative's conviction that impactful change can originate from a single idea, which blossoms through dialogue, experience, and collaboration to become a solution that yields tangible social benefits.
The gathering will serve as a platform for Arab thinkers and creators to transform ideas and knowledge into a future that shapes their communities. Attendees can anticipate keynote presentations, facilitated discussions, hands-on workshops, and creative performances, all organized in partnership with 10 local and regional organizations.
Since its inception, BilAraby has garnered over 1,600 applications from participants worldwide. This year, more than 15 speakers from various backgrounds across the Arab world and beyond have been chosen to share their insights. Their topics span entrepreneurship, technology, peacebuilding, genetics, sustainability, heritage, identity, and the redefinition of victory.
Notable speakers include Issam Hijazi, a tech entrepreneur; Dr. Bachir Halimi, an Algerian language expert; Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri, a Qatari entrepreneur; and Wael Al-Dahdouh, a Palestinian journalist.
In addition to the keynote presentations, the gathering will offer interactive sessions, creative performances, and hands-on experiences.
