Pemuda Umno mahu terlibat buat manifesto pilihan raya

Pemuda Umno, the youth wing of the Islamic party Umno, has expressed a desire to be involved in the preparation of the National Rally manifesto for the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. In a statement at the end of the party's agong meeting, Pemuda Umno president Dr Akmal Saleh emphasized the importance of including young voters in the manifesto-making process.

He argued that Pemuda should not be excluded from shaping the manifesto if Umno wishes to appeal to young voters. Akmal highlighted that Umno needs to consider the views of the younger generation, as the party's members are closer to the real-life experiences of this demographic. He noted that the party is composed of professionals, workers, and civil servants, and that they understand the issues faced by these groups.

Dr Akmal called for the party leadership to involve Pemuda in crafting the manifesto. Meanwhile, he also touched on the upcoming Penang state election, indicating that Pemuda Umno is ready to face the Pakatan Harapan coalition in all 28 seats. He expressed his eagerness to contest against the opposition party.
