OpenAI might have stolen another major proof

OpenAI has resolved a longstanding mathematical puzzle by demonstrating that the Navier-Stokes equations, which describe fluid behavior, can indeed "blow up" and become infinite in certain situations. This breakthrough, achieved through the work of over 10,000 AI agents working together, solves one of the Millennium Prize Problems in mathematics.

The Navier-Stokes equations, first formulated 200 years ago, have been crucial in advancing technology from aircraft design to medical devices. However, understanding when these equations break down has been a major challenge, earning a $1 million reward for solving the related question of blow-ups.
