Nitin Nabin, Uttarakhand CM Dhami Interact With Youth In Haldwani, Highlight Jobs, Startups & Skill Development

Haldwani witnessed a youth dialogue programme where BJP National President Nitin Nabin and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami engaged with young people. The dialogue focused on various topics, including careers, employment, entrepreneurship, skill development, technology, sports, and the state's future.

During the discussion, participants raised questions about the state and country's development, shared their experiences with government schemes, and offered suggestions for better employment and opportunity opportunities in Uttarakhand. Nitin Nabin highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India's youth are being directed towards new paths and provided with emerging opportunities through initiatives like Digital India, Startup India, Skill India, Make in India, and Khelo India.

He emphasized that today's youth don't just seek employment but also aspire to create jobs and new opportunities. The youth of Uttarakhand possess immense talent, and connecting their energy and capabilities with the state's development can propel Uttarakhand to new heights. Nabin called upon the youth to transform challenges into opportunities and contribute to building a developed India, suggesting that social media should be used positively for societal progress.

Chief Minister Dhami stressed that the youth are the country's greatest strength, providing new energy, fresh ideas, and renewed capabilities. Since taking office on July 4, 2021, his government has accelerated the recruitment process for government jobs, appointing around 34,000 young people. Dhami also highlighted efforts to create self-employment, startup, and entrepreneurship opportunities through various schemes, including the Chief Minister's Self-Employment Scheme, skill development programs, homestays, and the Chief Minister's Udyaman Khiladi Scheme.

Uttarakhand is rapidly establishing a new identity in sports, with the state expanding sports infrastructure and working towards establishing a Sports University in Haldwani and a Sports College for women in Lohaghat. The Chief Minister also mentioned the state's growing sporting talent, as evidenced by athletes winning over 100 medals at the National Games.
