N.L. residents helped Muslims feel safe amid post-9/11 prejudice, says association leader
Twenty-five years after the Sept. 11 attacks on New York in 2001, the head of Newfoundland and Labrador's Muslim association says he looks back on the day with shock. However, Haseen Khan said communities rallied together in the years that followed to ensure support for Muslims in the province.
