Moscow Has Launched A Terror Campaign Against American Business In Ukraine — Sybiha

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has accused Moscow of launching a terror campaign against American businesses in Ukraine. On September 10, a Russian drone strike targeted an Oleina plant in Dnipro, owned by the American agro-industrial giant Bunge. The attack resulted in at least two deaths and extensive damage to the facility.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's spokesman, Andrii Sybiha, stated that this incident is part of a systematic campaign by Russia against American businesses. Just a few weeks prior, another American-owned company in Sumy region was also attacked. Sybiha emphasized that these strikes highlight the urgent need to bolster Ukraine's air defense capabilities and increase pressure on the Russian regime to end the war and engage in genuine diplomacy.

The Russian drone strike on September 10 also targeted a gas station in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, injuring three people. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the attack, stating that the UAV landed on the gas station grounds, causing a fire. Thankfully, the blaze was quickly extinguished and the vehicle involved was not severely affected. Medical personnel were providing assistance to the injured.

Sybiha underscored that these strikes demonstrate the necessity for Ukraine to enhance its air defense system and exert greater pressure on the Russian regime. They must compel Russia to cease the conflict and enter into meaningful diplomatic negotiations.
