This significant increase in wealth came after a surge in Dell Technologies' share prices, which boosted Dell's fortune by approximately $6.3 billion, or 2.36%, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

The latest jump in his wealth has propelled Dell past Alphabet co-founder Larry Page, placing him behind only Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, whose estimated fortune stands at around $942 billion. Dell's net worth has more than doubled since January, with Forbes estimating it at about $141 billion at the beginning of the year, representing a remarkable 94% increase in less than nine months.

Dell's rise in the billionaire rankings is a result of the strong performance of Dell Technologies, which initially benefited from better-than-expected financial results and guidance in September 2023, leading to a $68.3 billion net worth. Since then, Dell Technologies' stock has gained 73% in a year, with the company becoming a major supplier to the rapidly growing AI industry.
