Meet 21-year-old Razaullah who's making his dream debut for Pakistan

Birmingham, England witnessed Pakistan's new Test debutant, Razaullah, making an immediate impact against England on September 9, 2026. The 21-year-old right-arm fast bowler swiftly proved his worth with the first wicket of the match, dismissing England's captain Joe Root with his maiden ball, having him caught lbw. Razaullah's second wicket came in quick succession, ending Emilio Gay's 60-run partnership. He concluded the day with 2 crucial wickets for 42 runs.

Born on April 5, 2005, in Mardan, Razaullah represents Peshawar Region in domestic cricket. He made his PSL debut for Rawalpindi earlier this year, claiming three wickets in two matches. The PCB reportedly overlooked Razaullah's lack of a passport and his switched-off phone when they called him to join the squad in England. A coach eventually traveled to his village to convey the exciting news. Pakistan suffered an early setback in the third Test, being dismissed for 133 on the opening day. Razaullah's early wicket-taking prowess provided much-needed respite for the visitors, who were left at 156 for four, giving them a 23-run lead.
