Growth is not expected to exceed 0.4% in 2026, compared to 0.7% forecast, according to the Insee. The main drivers of demand - consumption and investment - have stalled, while inflation and unemployment continue to rise. This underperformance contrasts with the recovery of other major economies in the euro zone.
