Kareena emphasized that the audience is smarter and knows when a film is good, so they will watch it regardless of the genre. She also highlighted filmmakers who take creative risks and provoke thought, indicating a change in the industry where the audience now watches trailers and chooses films based on their content, not just genre.

The actress concluded that while Animal was a commercial success, the industry needs to balance commercialism with original storytelling.
