Iwobi deletes Fulham posts after recent jeers

Nigeria international footballer Alex Iwobi has removed all his posts related to Fulham from Instagram following jeers he received during a substitution in his team's recent defeat against Crystal Palace, according to PUNCH Sports Extra. The 30-year-old midfielder was substituted in the 82nd minute of the match, despite reportedly covering the second-highest distance on the pitch that day.

His Instagram account, along with that of former Arsenal teammate Emile Smith Rowe, went dark, highlighting the team's poor start to the Premier League season, where they have lost all three games so far. Iwobi played in all three of Fulham's opening matches, while Smith Rowe made substitute appearances in two and was unused in the third.

The Cottagers, who sit 19th in the table, are set to face an unbeaten Liverpool team at Anfield this weekend, adding to their challenges. Iwobi had previously deleted similar content earlier this year before reinstating it in late May.
