'It Is Disappointing But...': Tusshar Kapoor On Dealing With Flop Films, Says His Work Ethic Is Strong - FPJ Exclusive

Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor shared insights on managing the challenges of a successful career in the film industry. Speaking to the Free Press Journal, the producer revealed that he keeps himself motivated by the mantra, “You can't stop. There is no turning back.” He also expressed faith in a higher power guiding his journey.

Tusshar emphasized that he maintained a strong work ethic throughout his career and never allowed personal failures to impact his approach to work. He stated, “My work ethic is strong. I have never been arrogant about my work or about success. And likewise, I don’t take toxicity very seriously either.”

Acknowledging that highs and lows are an inherent part of an actor's career, Tusshar explained that he always looked at the bigger picture, using failures as a learning curve rather than letting them overwhelm him. He said, “I looked at the larger picture. This is my growth, this is my learning curve.”

When discussing his reaction to flopping films, the Golmaal actor admitted he never took them personally, stating, “It is disappointing, but I used to move on with it.” He also noted that success often follows periods of failure, adding, “Every actor goes through it,” which brings a sense of perspective and lightness to the situation.

Tusshar Kapoor also revealed that his father, legendary actor Jeetendra, once advised him, “Don’t think too much about this picture, don’t think about that one. Just keep walking. We don’t know what will work and what won’t.” He realized the significance of his father’s words later in life, becoming more selective about the projects he chose to work on.

Tusshar Kapoor is recognized for his roles in films like Golmaal, Kyaa Kool Hain Hum, and The Dirty Picture. He is set to return to the Golmaal franchise with Golmaal 5, which is scheduled for release in 2027.
