Intapp launches DealCloud plug-in for ChatGPT for finance firms

Intapp, a provider of software platforms for regulated industries, has launched its DealCloud with Celeste plug-in for ChatGPT for Financial Services. The new plug-in allows deal teams to access client, deal, and relationship records within ChatGPT for Financial Services, which combines financial data with GPT-6 Astra's reasoning capabilities to assist teams in creating research, financial models, and client materials.

Celeste, Intapp's AI tool, provides information about a firm's clients, funds, investors, and historical decisions. The software caters to approximately 1,700 firms in private capital and investment banking. The plug-in enables professionals to access their firm's relationship history, identify colleagues with existing relationships, and track active deals.

Confidentiality controls and information barriers set by firms within the Intapp platform are maintained. Intapp Co-founder and Chief Product Officer Thad Jampol explained that while frontier models know the world, they lack knowledge of firms' specific operations, relationships, and permissions. The DealCloud with Celeste plug-in is now available to eligible Intapp clients utilizing ChatGPT for Financial Services.
