India asserted their dominance in the 2026 Women’s Junior Asia Cup quarterfinal, routing Pakistan 19-0 to position themselves just two wins away from a third consecutive continental title. The defending champions fell behind within seven minutes, with Puja Sahoo scoring the opening goal for India. Roshni Aind added a second goal shortly after, and India continued their relentless onslaught, scoring four more goals within the subsequent five minutes.

Tanushree Dinesh Kadu and Sukhveer Kaur found the net in the 11th and 13th minutes, while Sanika Chandrakant Mane also netted in the 13th minute. Madhu Sidar and Geeta Yadav extended India's lead before Mane scored his second goal in the 23rd minute. Tanuja Toppo and Pooja Malik completed the first-half scoring, and Purnima Yadav's 33rd-minute goal ensured India went into halftime with a commanding 10-0 advantage.

Malik completed a hat-trick, while Krishna Sharma and Binima Dhan added additional goals to maintain the pressure. Supriya and Roshni capped the extraordinary performance with their respective goals in the final minute. India's impressive 19-goal haul followed their strong showing in the group stage, where they topped the table after victories against Japan, Malaysia, and South Korea.

The team will now await the winner of the South Korea-Malaysia quarterfinal to face them in the semifinals. The victory leaves India just two wins short of a hat-trick of Junior Women’s Asia Cup titles, following their triumphs in 2023 and 2024. Meanwhile, Pakistan awaits their quarterfinal opponent, with Mohsin Naqvi set to attend the women's final match.
