HMDA calls bids for 8.75 km elevated corridor between Banjara Hills and Gachibowli

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has issued a call for bids to construct an 8.75-km elevated corridor connecting the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) at Banjara Hills to the Shilpa Layout flyover road. The estimated cost of the project amounts to ₹1,334.87 crore and will be undertaken under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) turnkey system.

The tender encompasses survey, investigation, design, and construction of the corridor, as well as road widening and reconstruction works. The proposed elevated corridor will feature a mix of four-lane and six-lane sections, along with ramps and stretches of road at ground level. A six-lane elevated section will be provided, incorporating entry and exit ramps at various locations.

Approximately 200 square meters of space has been designated for a potential future viewing gallery. HMDA has set a project completion deadline of 24 months, inclusive of the monsoon period and utility relocation. The final bid submission deadline is October 5, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 22 at the Chief Engineer's office at HMDA.
