Groupe Dynamite reports Q2 profit and sales up, raises revenue growth guidance

Montreal - Clothing retailer Groupe Dynamite Inc. announced a profit of $113.4 million for the second quarter, a significant increase from $63.9 million the previous year. The company also raised its revenue guidance for the full year 2026, now projecting a growth of 25.0 to 27.0 percent, up from previous estimates of 22.0 to 25.0 percent.

The profit, or $1.00 per diluted share, marked an improvement from 56 cents per diluted share earned in the same quarter last year. On an adjusted basis, Groupe Dynamite reported 96 cents per diluted share, up from 57 cents per diluted share in the prior year. The company's revenue for the second quarter reached $423.6 million, a jump from $326.4 million in the same period a year ago.

Comparable-store sales, a key indicator, grew by 10.3 percent. For the full year, Groupe Dynamite now anticipates a 12.0 to 14.0 percent increase in comparable-store sales, up from earlier guidance of 11.0 to 14.0 percent.
