'Give us space to lead today,' says Puteri Umno chief

Puteri Umno's chief, Datuk Nurul Amal Mohd Fauzi, is urging the party's top leadership to provide young women in the movement with more opportunities to lead. In her closing remarks at the Puteri Umno delegates' meeting, Nurul Amal said that if Puteri is the future, they want to be given the chance to lead now. She called on party leaders to trust and empower young women, giving them the responsibility to prove their leadership abilities.

Nurul Amal stressed that Puteri members are ready to take on leadership roles and deliver practical solutions instead of just focusing on slogans and programmes. She urged Puteri leaders at all levels to ensure the movement continues to be a platform for young women to develop their leadership skills and take on greater responsibilities, emphasizing that the movement's future depends on its ability to lead when opportunities arise.
