Pre-event, SPF opened three calls for entries to identify exceptional talent for the Festival: "Mic Check" Poetry Slam for N100,000, "Pitch It" for N400,000, and an open call for performers in music, dance, spoken word, and film.
Founder Rita Ezenwa Okoro emphasized that the festival underscores the reality that creativity is an economy, providing young Nigerians with both the stage and the recognition needed to pursue lucrative, sustainable careers in their passions.
