Five Consecutive Years of AREA Recognition Reinforce

CKPower, a leading energy company, has received two prestigious awards from AREA 2026 for the fifth consecutive year, solidifying its commitment to sustainable community development and partnership with local communities. The awards, presented by the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA), recognize the company's leadership and excellence in corporate social responsibility, including environmental and social sustainability.

The Hinghoi Project, which has been recognized since 2022, has been awarded for its Social Empowerment, Waste to Value – Hinghoi: Preserving and Restoring Natural Resources Project, and Green Leadership initiatives. The Hinghoi Project, launched in 2016, aims to improve the quality of life for communities surrounding power plant sites and remote areas in Laos and Thailand by harnessing the company's expertise in renewable energy.

With 46 subprojects implemented across Thailand and the Lao PDR, the project has generated a combined installed renewable electricity capacity of 163,100 watts, providing clean electricity and better infrastructure access. The project has also transferred renewable energy knowledge to over 16,000 students and teachers, created a renewable fund for long-term maintenance and the One Power Plant One Product (OPOP) initiative, and developed six premium products generating over 2.8 million baht in revenue.
