FC Cincinnati suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of Philadelphia Union on September 9, losing 5-0 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania. The loss not only affected their standing in the standings but also resulted in suspensions for key players Evander Nwobodo and Obinna Nwobodo. The team now stands at 8-8-7, with a total of 31 points and a seventh-place finish in the Eastern Conference.
