Eaton, Autodesk link building data across design and operations

PITTSBURGH - Eaton has introduced Workbench 360, a platform that integrates electrical equipment data and project information across Autodesk’s Revit, Forma and Tandem software applications, as stated in a press release today. The platform is designed to enable project teams to access equipment information and engineering support throughout the building lifecycle, spanning design, construction, and operations.

Workbench 360 seamlessly integrates with Autodesk workflows, offering visibility into equipment status, submittals, order milestones, and shipping details. During the design phase, engineers can leverage Eaton’s building information modeling content and product information within Autodesk Revit. The platform expands to project execution visibility in Autodesk Forma Build and connects to Autodesk Tandem for operational asset management.

Justin Carron, director of buildings and campuses at Eaton, emphasized the increasing complexity of buildings and infrastructure projects, highlighting the need for new methods to link design decisions with project execution and long-term operations. Sid Haksar, Head of Construction Strategy & Partnerships at Autodesk, noted that keeping critical information connected throughout the project lifecycle poses a significant challenge.

The platform is tailored for building, campus, healthcare, and data center environments. Eaton showcased Workbench 360 at Autodesk University booth 2216. In 2025, Eaton reported revenues of $27.4 billion and serves customers in 180 countries, manufacturing products for data center, utility, industrial, commercial, residential, aerospace, and mobility markets.
