Dutch tour bus overturns in Switzerland, leaving several people dead, police say

Navi Mumbai, September 10, 2026: A tragic three-vehicle collision involving an autorickshaw, two cars, and a fatal outcome has unfolded near Agri Koli village in CBD Belapur on Tuesday evening. The incident, which claimed the life of an autorickshaw driver and left two women severely injured, occurred around 7:30 pm on September 8.

The accident unfolded when advocate Sachin Parulkar, 49, and his family were en route to Sector 15, CBD Belapur, in their Celerio car. As they approached the downward stretch of the railway flyover near Agri Koli, a Chevrolet car, allegedly driven at a high speed and recklessly, rear-ended their vehicle. The impact sent Parulkar's car into an autorickshaw traveling ahead, causing the autorickshaw to overturn.

Tragically, the autorickshaw driver, Dhanraj Ramesh Kasbe, 50, lost his life at the scene. The two occupants of the Chevrolet car, Samidha Mahesh Kashid, 21, and Nidhi Yogesh Lala, 19, sustained serious injuries in the crash. The collision inflicted significant damage to both the autorickshaw and the Celerio car.

The police swiftly took action, registering a case against the Chevrolet driver, Abhiraj Kailas Kasbe, 21, under pertinent sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act. Kasbe was promptly taken into custody, and further legal proceedings are underway.

As the community mourns the loss of life and grapples with the aftermath of this devastating accident, the police continue their investigation to ascertain the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
