Deadmau5 Signs With Independent Artist Group in All Areas

Deadmau5 has inked a deal with Independent Artist Group (IAG) to represent him across multiple sectors. The announcement, made in a press release, aims to broaden his business horizons in music, film, television, digital content, gaming, and technology, generating fresh prospects for his expanding portfolio of intellectual property.

IAG will scout for film, TV, and digital chances for deadmau5, along with his current IP, which includes the revival of his digital series Coffee Run, his video game company Oberhasli Games, and Auto/Pilot, his platform for live performances. Deadmau5 was formerly represented by CAA from 2024 onwards and UTA from 2020 to 2024. IAG CEO Jim Osborne and president Kyle Loftus expressed their belief that Deadmau5 embodies the future of the entertainment industry, where music, technology, content, and ownership converge.

"Joel is a once-in-a-generation creative force," they stated. "He has been ahead of the curve throughout his career, pioneering live production, streaming, gaming, software, and digital experiences. While music remains the cornerstone of his work, the possibilities extend far beyond that." Deadmau5 welcomed IAG's reputation for forging exciting crossover content creation and ownership opportunities for musical artists.

"As my business evolves across touring, music, technology, and new ventures, I'm thrilled to team up with a group that understands our aspirations and can assist us in shaping what's next," he added. Deadmau5 currently has performances scheduled throughout North America until the end of October and will also take the stage at EDC Colombia in Medellín on October 10. He will headline two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on October 30-31.
