Dave Portnoy rips Patriots for ‘disgusting’ loss to Seahawks

Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports and a devoted New England Patriots fan, was utterly disgusted by the Patriots' Week 1 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The Patriots led 10-0 at the end of the third quarter before the Seahawks managed to overcome a 10-point deficit to win the game. Portnoy expressed his disappointment on social media, saying, "Only the first game of the season but that was tough to watch.

Horrible game from Drake (Maye), that last throw... disgusting. We lose A.J. Brown with what I guess is gonna be a pretty severe injury. The other guy, new guy, (Romeo) Doubs, just a disgusting drop. Play-calling sucked most of the night I thought on offense." He criticized the play-calling and the team's performance, calling it "F-minus s***."

Maye's poor performance led to three interceptions, and the injury to A.J. Brown was severe, potentially sidelining the wide receiver for the season. The Patriots will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2, but the absence of their top receiver could prove problematic.
