Chiang Mai man struck by sedan while chasing wife across road

A Thai man in his fifties suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car while attempting to retrieve his wife's keys during an argument on Mahidol Road in Chiang Mai yesterday, September 9. Emergency responders from the Phetkasem Foundation and Central Memorial Hospital were alerted to the crash around 7:15pm and rushed to the scene, where they provided immediate medical attention before transporting the victim to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for further treatment.

The sedan's driver expressed shock and distress following the incident, but it is unclear whether he sustained any physical harm. Eyewitnesses stated that the couple had previously engaged in a heated argument inside a sedan before the woman exited the vehicle and crossed the road to retrieve the key.
