Amazon makes its agentic AI platform Quick generally available for desktop on Windows and macOS

Amazon has made its AI-powered assistant and enterprise platform for AI agents, Quick, generally available on Windows and macOS desktops. The update also brings a refreshed mobile activity feed for iOS and Android devices, combining email, calendar, messaging and customer relations management into a single priority view. AI agents within Quick manage routine tasks in the background, allowing important items to surface for human intervention in the foreground.

Quick's dashboard consolidates data from various systems, records, meetings, follow-ups and chats, providing a comprehensive view of work throughout the day. As the number of productivity tools increases, so does the number of notifications, which Quick addresses by ensuring users are aware of notifications relevant to their current tasks.

Lower-priority notifications remain in a separate space, accessible later if needed. Even when users close their desktop, Quick continues working in the background, maintaining connectivity across desktop and mobile interfaces. Amazon utilizes Amazon Web Services infrastructure, ensuring work can be accessed from any location while maintaining security, privacy, and enterprise-grade management.

Enterprise data remains secure within firewalls, while conversations are kept private and auditable within CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
