AAGHOSHAM: Experience Kerala's Soul Like Never Before!

AAGHOSHAM, a cultural event rooted in the soul of Kerala, was conceived by Shobha Pillai Coutinho in 2024 with a vision to bring the authentic essence of Keralam to Mumbai. In 2026, Hari Ayyappan of Archers Entertainment joined forces, elevating the experience through their partnership. Together, they transformed AAGHOSHAM into an immersive celebration of Kerala's heritage, cuisine, performing arts, and inspiring achievers at Fairmont Mumbai.

Shobha's inspiration for AAGHOSHAM stemmed from the desire to create an event that allowed people to experience, feel, and remember the true essence of Keralam, not just see it. The partnership with Archers Entertainment provided the necessary scale, structure, and production expertise to bring the vision to life, ensuring every element reflected the richness and dignity of Keralam.

The 2026 edition of AAGHOSHAM was particularly special, featuring blessings from the Royal Family of Travancore and a tribute to the timeless artistic legacy of Raja Ravi Varma. Aaghosham Varthamanam, an instant event bulletin, was created for guests to carry home and share the experience. The program featured a diverse range of performances, including Mahesh Raghavan, Shravan Sridhar, Kathakali, Ottam Thullal, Chenda Melam, Mohiniyattam, and a musical presentation by Sanjukta from Amsterdam.

The traditional Kerala Sadhya was the heart of AAGHOSHAM, serving as a central element to the event. The culinary team at Fairmont Mumbai ensured the Sadhya was presented authentically, providing guests with an immersive experience through sight, sound, and taste. The event also celebrated distinguished achievers from various fields, recognizing their journeys and contributions as part of the AAGHOSHAM mission to honor roots and celebrate journeys.
