Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max has a 13.3-inch display, Android 17, and a 12,000 mAh battery

Xiaomi has announced its latest flagship Android tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max, which boasts a massive 13.3-inch display and a powerful 12,000 mAh battery. The tablet will debut in China with no plans for global release yet. The standout feature of the Pad 9 Pro Max is its 13.3-inch display with minimal bezels and an LCD panel with a resolution of 3408×2272, delivering a 3:2 aspect ratio.

This display is further enhanced by a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The device comes with three RAM options – 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB – paired with storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. The heart of the tablet is Xiaomi's proprietary XRing O3 chip, which powers devices such as the Xiaomi 18 Fold and uses Arm's latest GPU.

Despite its slim profile of just 5.67mm, the tablet is surprisingly heavy at 645g due to its robust metal construction. It is also equipped with a 12,000 mAh battery, ensuring prolonged usage. The device offers a matte finish for the display glass but adds a few grams to its weight. The tablet is available in two shades of gray and a dark red.

Pricing starts at CNY 4,799, which is approximately $715 USD. As of now, there is no information regarding the tablet's availability outside of China.
