“Wicked: Part One in Concert” Orchestral Tour Kicking Off in 2027

The orchestral journey of Wicked: Part One and Wicked: For Good begins in early 2027. The first concert, "Wicked: Part One in Concert", will feature a symphony orchestra performing the music of Stephen Schwartz and John Powell, synchronized with the film screening. The special preview concert took place in San Francisco on January 16th, with the world premiere at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on January 23rd.

Following this, the tour will travel to Chicago, Mexico City, Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. More dates and cities will be announced later. Tickets will be available for pre-sale through Live Nation All Access on September 10th for select dates, followed by a general on-sale on September 11th via Ticketmaster and the official website.

Stephen Schwartz expressed his delight at the idea of Wicked becoming film concerts, praising the direction by Oscar-winner Justin Hurwitz and his team. The tour kicks off with performances at The Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco on January 16th, Radio City Music Hall in New York on January 23rd, The Auditorium in Chicago on January 30th, Arena CDMX in Mexico City on January 30th, Arena Guadalajara in Guadalajara on April 17th, Arena Monterrey in Monterrey on April 24th, Meridian Hall in Toronto on May 29th (matinee), Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montreal on July 17th (matinee), and The Orpheum in Vancouver on July 24th (matinee) and July 24th in Vancouver.
